Our Beliefs

Lexington Baptist Church adheres to the latest edition of the Southern Baptist Confession of faith entitled, “The Baptist Faith and Message.” Southern Baptists do not embrace a creed, having traditionally stated, “Our only creed is the Bible.” 

Southern Baptists have, from their earliest days published statements of belief called “Confessions of Faith,” for the purpose of identifying agreements in areas of doctrine and polity.
