Our Beliefs

Lexington Baptist Church adheres to the latest edition of the Southern Baptist Confession of faith entitled, “The Baptist Faith and Message.”  All Scripture is totally true and trustworthy and our authority. It reveals the principles by which God judges sin, died for us, and how He is the only way to salvation.  

There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, and Savior. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. God is all powerful and all knowing;  to Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience.
